Refund Policy
Last updated: 22 August 2026
We want you to get a report you're happy with. If something goes wrong at our end, we'll fix it or refund you. This policy sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which always apply.
Before we start processing
If you change your mind and let us know before we've started running your report, we'll cancel it and refund you in full. Contact us through our contact form as soon as you can — we usually begin within moments of payment being confirmed.
After processing has started
Once we've begun, the searches, AI tests and checks are already being run and paid for, so we generally can't offer a change-of-mind refund. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and it doesn't apply to the situations below.
Where the report is delivered as described
If we complete your report and it's what we said it would be, we don't refund it simply because you didn't like the results — the point of the report is to tell you what we actually observed, good or bad. Your statutory rights and remedies continue to apply, including if the service turns out not to meet a consumer guarantee.
If FoundSignal fails
If something breaks at our end and your report doesn't complete, or completes with material parts missing, we'll re-run it for you at no cost. If we still can't deliver a usable report, we'll refund you.
If a third-party service is down
Our report relies on outside services for search data, website reading and AI answers. If one of them is unavailable and blocks your report, we'll retry and re-supply the report once it's working. If we ultimately can't deliver a usable report, we'll refund you.
If your website can't reasonably be analysed
Some sites can't be read — for example if they're offline, blocked to automated access, behind a login, or have almost no readable content. If we can't produce a usable report for your website, you get a full refund.
Duplicate purchases
If you accidentally buy the same report twice, email us and we'll refund the duplicate. No argument, no forms.
Free promotional reports
Where a promotional code brought the price to $0, there's nothing to refund in cash. If a free report fails or comes back unusable, we'll re-run it for you where that's appropriate.
How to ask
Contact us through our contact form with your report link or report ID and a short description of the problem. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe; how quickly it appears depends on your bank or card provider.
Your Australian Consumer Law rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee you're entitled to have the problem fixed, and where the failure is major you may be entitled to cancel and get a refund and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. Nothing in this policy or in our Terms takes those rights away.
